CHICISIMO - BEST OF THE WEEK

This week in Chicisimo- Most of pictures are for fashionistas who wear jeans/ pants and tops or tops with blazers.In Two first pictures above, I notice another way of wearing a belt which I actually saw some ladies with the style but I never got to try before.Consequently, I attempted today  a yellow long belt on my dress and it was just perfect.This applied  to the belts which are super/extra long and you can't wear them just as they are.Given that the belt will go around the waist more than one time and makes the clothes you wear not to fit well to the body.So to avoid that, you can shorten it by fitting the buckle to a fitted screw and then left end part of it to drop down as shown on pictures below.

SHAFNIE'S BATIKS

Shafnie is my classmate and also a  good friend of mine.Lots of people celebrated Eid Mubarak on friday, enjoyed gifts and exchanged greetings .Shafnie was among them.All seven batiks dresses you see below were made by her mother particular for that blessed festival.According to Shafnie, her mother has been tailoring since she was 16.Not for the means of making money but It was and still it is for fun and leisure. However she can spend the whole day doing what she is enjoying to do..The dresses are traditional costumes and made of batik silk which is known as 'Baju Kurung'(Is made loose from the body). Furthermore, her mother doesn't only make 'Baju Karung' but also 'Baju Karung  Malaysia' which made fit and shapely according to they body and it got zip behind the dress.Regardless to the price of the batiks at their home country, the colours doesn't fade away easily though it is designed and drawn by hands/ manually.I was so fascinated when I saw the pictures and I really wanted to know the history behind it.So,as a result Shefnie was able to offer me with information and pictures as well.:-)

BRACES OR SUSPENDERS

Hello Guys.

Well!In all of his shows( Larry King Live),its very rarely to see Larry without his pair of braces on.I suppose you will agree with me that he is Number one style Icon. Braces seemed to be forgotten to some extent but Mr.King never looked back as he always wear them.

And even some of us think that braces are no longer exist in the world of styles or think  is an old fashion type of thing which is not true.Many moons ago,Myself I thought braces are for overweight people to keep their trouser/jeans in a place since our teacher used to wear them and he was full packed(fat).

 In recent Years braces are becoming more popular and wowed a lot to both old people and young generation.Just take an example of Sheria Ngowi latest collection,I'm falling in love with his braces pictures,which to be honest ,they are amazing.

Moreover,I hope you guys watched Ne Yo new video -(One in a million) wearing a pair of braces and making those pretty moves.He went for large black and white pair of  braces however there some who prefer small one. I'm very fascinated about the old fashion and it wonderful to see high status people with money wear them as well.

Finally, the braces can serve two function on either to keep the trouser or skirt to a right position or simply to add the look.How?.We all know that there different colours  for braces and hence the coloured pair tends to bring some ensemble to the suit or type of clothes you put on, which is  totally cool.

Did You ever Know that In their whole life,Women do approximate spend 287 Days just searching for  clothes in their wardrobes or In front of  their Mirrors.We all know men spend less than 10 minutes to get everything done.But What is up with women spending more than 15 minutes a day to prepare themselves?
